Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.

Art, Revisiting My Passion

¨Sun Set¨

One of my Free Hand Pieces ¨Sun Set¨

It  has been so long since I have actually sat and thought about drawing. I love to draw; I am opposed to art classes. I don´t see how one can teach creativity. Why did I stop art for so long? Well, sports and school occupy a lot of my time now. My favorite type of art is ¨Free Hand¨( I call it ¨spitting¨). A lot of my Free Hand pieces are very ¨beachy.¨ I enjoy beachy types of art, they really run with the times and my personality.

¨Sunset¨

My piece to the left is called ¨Sunset;¨ Oceanside Pier inspired me to do a chill and beachy piece that brought out the sunset and showed fun in its color.  I am excited to get back on my grind. I have actually been testing out a new form of art, ceramics. It has been going well and now I get to go back to where I started and hopefully build off of those roots!

Definition of Spitting- When rappers free-style, they say their ¨ spitting rhymes¨; just a way of expressing their talent. That´s how I feel when I ¨Free Hand.¨

I have always enjoyed looking at street murals and trying to put together all of the designs to see what they all mean as a whole. Representation, is a big factor for me and how I live my life. Murals represent something positive to the specific topic in the art. I like to put so many things in one drawing; I believe that it helps express your point so much more than a structured piece.

Structured pieces are for art classes. Quote me.

I am my favorite artist

MAGNUM FORCE, Clint Eastwood, 1973

MAGNUM FORCE, Clint Eastwood, 1973

I dont think I have ever seen another artist like me. I certainly dont think that I´m like

anyone else. ¨Art¨ is the creation and each creator has their own style of creating something. The reason an artist creates something can be similar to another´s, but what makes them different is how they create that something.

I believe that HOW an artist makes their creation is most important when looking at someone´s art. An example of certain style, Van Gogh would make his paintings darker if he was in a sad mood.

I see myself as a ¨Clint Eastwood¨ in the world of art. I grew up with my grandfather watching so many Clint Eastwood movies. Eastwood directed his movies. When asked what his inspiration for his types of film, Eastwood said, ¨ Well, I thought I´d like to watch that so I made it.¨ I thought it was so cool when he said that. That answer is why I draw what I want, how I want, and why I want.

I tried being reasonable, I didn’t like it – Clint Eastwood
